Dr. Lauren Slaughter, a research fellow at London's Arab-Anglo Institute, is completely dissatisfied with her employment. To augment her income, she begins moonlighting at the Jasmine Escort Service, where she has a greater degree of influence over men and money than she does at the office. Lauren meets Lord Bulbeck, a politician who is attempting to mediate a peace agreement between the Arabs and the Israelis, on one of her 'dates.' Bulbeck develops feelings for his escort, and Lauren becomes an unsuspecting pawn in some very dark politics.
