There is no honor if the truth is not spoken. A single man jumps onto the battlefield when gang warfare spiral out of control in downtown Washington, D.C., in order to apprehend a vicious assassin. Once released from prison, a young man sets out on a journey to create a better life for himself. He is unfortunately tempted back into the only world he knows...crime, due to a lack of prospects in front of his eyes. During his stay in prison, he reconnects with his former closest friend, who has subsequently "made it big" as a drug dealer. When money gets in between them, however, what starts out as a collaboration that promises to get them both out of the projects quickly turns sour. Due to the division of loyalties, wrath and violence erupt, destroying anyone who stands in the path of the conflict. When innocent people are caught in the crossfire, it is up to one man, Police Lieutenant Redding (Morgan Freeman), to take matters into his own hands and put a stop to the pointless deaths before it is too late for them.
