1 year after losing his son David, Eve Goode along with her husband Raymond Goode embrace the orphan Ethan Snow (along with his teenaged sister Abby Snow and bring them to their mansion nearby a lake. Abby faces difficulties of adaptation in her residence, and Eve, who proves to be shaky and deranged is confronted by her.
