Bumbling Ernest P. Worrell is delegated to jury duty, by which a crooked lawyer notices a similarity with crime boss Mr. Nash, and arranges a turn. Nash supposes the job of Ernest while Ernest undergoes Nash's sentence. But instead of killing himthe electrocution gives Ernest super human powers, permitting him foil Nash's attempt to rob the bank and to flee from jail.
