Messalina (played by Betty Roland) will do anything to become Empress of Rome. She attracts Caligula's attention by fighting in the gladiator arena, and she soon fulfills her purpose, upsetting Agrippina, who thinks her son Nero will become emperor. Agrippina plans Caligula's downfall, but Messalina shacks up with his heir, Claudius. Messalina shags everyone in sight, including a hideous but well-endowed brothel frequenter, a randy midget, and an ex-lover. When she gets pregnant and it's clear that Claudius isn't the father (since he's fighting abroad), Agrippina sees her chance to get rid of her adversary.
