Black Angel
Italy, march 1945 Asolo. The wife of a high ministry official, livia Mazzion, slides to lawyer Ugo Oggiano, Livia's admirer and also her husband's informer's car. Livia must hit also her buff Helmut Schultz and Venice, a Wermacht lieutenant, accursed and as beautiful being being a god, with whom she is having a romance that is burning. During the trip she relives the highpoints of her sexual devastation gone adrift, one that has shattered her entire life and her destiny, swallowing her up at a sybaritic and bituminous Venice's ruinous vortex. The town, at the throes of the war's final months, is rife with officials traffickers, nabobs brass, sharks and adventurers of every type. Yet a surprise expects Livia up on her arrival in Venice, a surprise at the heroes' own personal defeats interweave with all those people, as historical and political events today want to be in accounts.
