Autumn in the City

Piper Grant relocates to New York in search of a fresh start and her calling in the workforce. She meets Austin Edwards, an aspiring author, as she hops between many thrilling temporary jobs that take her all around the city. Piper's cheery outlook contrasts with Austin's cynicism, yet the enchantment of autumn soon brings them closer together. When Piper finds that her true interest is illustration, she and her boyfriend decide to collaborate on a children's book, and in the process, they realize that what they're really looking for may be each other.
