April 9th
In morning of April 9th 1940 the Danish army is alerted. The border has been crossed by the Germans. Denmark are currently at war against the strongest army of Europe. In Southern Jutland bicycle- and motorcycle businesses are ordered outto against all odds, hold back the forces until the reinforcements that are Danish can be mobilized. At the mortal hours, people follow next lieutenant Sand and also his bicycle company - they will on April 9th 1940 meet with the enemy in combat function as initial Danish soldiers.
