Apartment 1303
While celebrating with her friends in her new finely leased apartment (with balcony and view of the sea) on the thirteenth floor of a building, the young Sayaka abruptly jumps off the balcony perpetrating suicide. Her mother goes crazy along with her elderly sister, Mariko, decides to look into the mysterious death of her sister. She finds there has been suicides of women living in apartment 1303. She finds out a novel telling the horrible story of the Yukiyo along with her mother, the first tenants of the apartment and also finds out the facts behind the suicides.
