From humble beginnings in a drugstore, Tower Records became a force within the audio market and soul of this audio environment, and the heart. In 1999, Tower Records made $1 billion. In 2006, the organization filed for bankruptcy. What went wrong? Everybody else thinks they understand what murdered Tower Records: The web. But that's not the story.
