The Invisible Man is a Scifi American television Show starring Paul Ben-Victor, Vincent Ventresca, Eddie Jones, Shannon Kenny and Michael McCafferty. Marginally more successful than tv show between invisible agents, it aired to February 1, 2002, lasting two seasons.
The storyline revolves round Darien Fawkes, a thief facing life imprisonment who was countered with a low-rent spy organization and given the capability of invisibility via implantation of a special"Quicksilver gland" within his head. The gland allows Fawkes to secrete a light-bending substance referred to as"Quicksilver" from his follicles and pores. The substance renders him invisible and also quickly coats his skin, hair, nails and clothes. They can release the Quicksilver, which flakes off and disintegrates. However, the Quicksilver gland has been compromised by scientist Arnaud DeFehrn to release a neurotoxin that accumulates in the bloodstream and causes pain, accompanied closely by antisocial behavior and psychosis. The server needs regular doses of"counteragent" to keep him healthy and sane, which is regulated by said government agency. This show lasted for two seasons, before being cancelled as a result of cost issues and linking between your Sci Fi Channel USA Networks, and its then-parent provider. The show's first season conducted in first-run syndication in addition to on scifi.
