The Kingdom is a American fairytale Dream miniseries written by Simon Moore and produced by Britain's Carnival Films, Germany's Babelsberg Film und Fernsehen, and the USA's Hallmark Entertainment. It depicts the adventures of a woman and her daddy as soon as they are hauled into a universe of fairy tales, magic beings, evil stepmothers and selfdiscovery, through a magic mirror out of Manhattan, New York.
The mini series was initially broadcast over five nights in two-hour episodes on NBC, beginning February 27, 2000. It gained good reviews but very poor ratings. It won an Emmy Award in 2000 for Main Title Design.
