Aaron Stone is a single-camera adventure series. Initially broadcast together with the launch of Disney XD on February 13, 2009. This had been the first series to air on the network.
The show is about an adolescent called Charlie Landers who is commissioned to eventually become the counterpart of his own world-renowned avatar Aaron Stone out of the video game Hero Rising. The show also stars David Lambert, Tania Gunadi and J. P. Manoux. Using complex narrative, Aaron Stone includes a darker tone unlike most of Disney shows.
Production for its very first season ran from June 2, to December 19, 2008. The first season aired on Disney XD to November 27, 2009, in February 13. On May 5, 2009, Disney announced that the series was renewed for another season. Kelly Blatz confirmed via Twitter accounts that production to its next season began on June 22, 2009.
On November 11, 2009 at a Live Ustream discussion with J. P. Manoux, Tania Gunadi and Bruce Kalish, it had been announced that Aaron Stone would be renewed for another season, with the next season being its last. The reason was that Disney XD has made your choice to put more focus. Before season one has been concluded in the United States, this announcement was created. An overall total of 14 episodes were produced for its next season. The remaining 8 episodes concluded on July 30, 2010 and started broadcasting on June 16. As of 2012, Disney XD airing reruns of all Aaron Stone at the United States.
