Tantra is Tantri. Tantri always gets the whites and Tantra the yolks when they steal the family's sacrifice eggs. But one day, Tantra and the yolk vanish. Tantri begins to slide into beautiful parallel realms, preparing for the inevitable parting through costumes, body paint, and dancing. Tantri's mother cleanses her face at one point, as if carefully dispelling the idea that things may stay as they are. Andini tells the story of a ten-year-old girl's separation and sadness through extensive dream sequences and the Balinese philosophy of sekala (the seen) and niskala (the unseen).
