Sweeney, "The Character King," gets a chance to do a national television show out of Los Angeles. The one stipulation is that Sweeney must abandon his regionally based content, most notably his colorful Boston "characters" that have become a staple of his home field success. Sweeney decides to stop doing the characters. He is disappointed when the characters "resurrect" and seek vengeance against Sweeney.
