The stooges are stranded in Valeska, a tropical country prone to earthquakes, as traveling salesmen. After failing to sell fur coats to the indigenous, they are apprehended when they receive a telegram telling them to "get rid of present outfit," and an official suspects them of plotting to assassinate President Ward Robey. The guys escape a firing squad with the help of Rita, a gorgeous revolutionary, and are dispatched on a mission to deliver critical plans to the revolutionary leader. When they accidentally deliver a rolled-up calendar, they face the firing squad once more, but are saved when Rita comes with the true plans.
