Nine years on, another Morley child has gone missing on her way home. Detective Chief Superintendent Maurice Jobson has been made to remember the imprisonment of regional boy Michael Myshkin, as well as the similar disappearance of Clare Kemplay, that was found dead in 1974. Local attorney John Piggott becomes convinced and begins to fight on his behalf providing a catalyst for Jobson to begin to right some wrongs.
