By day, Nola Devlin (Poppy Montgomery) is a unassuming, frumpy magazine editor who's over looked and contested by her colleagues. After the sun sets, however, and she's supporting the glow and anonymity of her screen, she's the famous and"reclusive" advice columnist Belinda Apple. Nola's friends, tired of being obese and dizzy, band together to generate the"Cinderella Pact," vowing to lose pounds by following the recommendation of their"fairy godmother," Apple. Nola has been made to take her own alter ego's advice when her secret identity is jeopardized. But, as the team of friends drops apparel sizes, their real problems are vulnerable, and also better-than-expected life changes begin to blossom.
