Davy Crockett, the nephew of his more famous namesake, is the scout of a wagon train travelling west across Indian territory in1848, accompanied by an Army escort. There is a spy among them who is telling the Indians of their whereabouts and activities. They manage to hold off the first Indian attack and then continue on.
